Hi everyone!

This is the link to the velocity profile which I get for the analysis of flow around a vehicle (using FLUENT) after the solution has converged.

As you can see, the wake region is very long..is this normal? And also, do you think I should use a longer flow domain? The resistance that I am getting for this vehicle(0.72 m in length and 0.8 sq-m surface area) is approx 4.5 Newtons. Now is that normal? Or is it too low? This vehicle is fully submerged and hence only viscous drag. The Cd calculated by ITTC line (can I use it?) comes out to be pretty low too. The Re is 2.2e+05. Am I doing it correctly? OR do you think that the drag (or the drag coefficient) is too low? Please please help me out.

Also, please have a look at this thread: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/flu...efficient.html

Thank you.
