Meshing in Gambit

I did structured meshing of the computational domain of a car geometry in 2D by decomposition of it. I am curoius to know whether the edges I used for decomposition may hinder the flow or not. First of all I divided the domain with edges, used, then stiched the edges to create faces and then did edge meshing and finally face meshing.The computational domain thus contained a number of meshed faces.
Suggestions are welcome. Farhat |

check if the "interior" edges are connected.
There is an icon for that: the one next to the "check mesh" with colors red-green-blue

The interior edges are of deep sky colour.

if the outer edges are orange then they are connected
