Hi,
i am running a LES simulation on a cluster. I have ran it for some time now and I wanted to adapt gradient based on velocity.

Here is how i did that..
On a local machine, I

Read the .cas file
Read the latest .dat file

Then did the adapt -gradient based on velocity and computed the max and min values. then gave the threshold value as about 10% of the maximum value.

there were a whole bunch of cells which were modified.

Here is what I didn't not understand. How do I restart the case on the cluster. I got a segmentation violation when i did the following.

On the local machine, after adapting the grid, I save the case file and the data file and the then copied to the computer cluster.

Is there a way of doing this adapt-gradient in batch mode?

As always, thanks a tonne..

vishwa
