Simulation of Convective Heat Transfer Question

I'm currently trying to simulate within ANSYS v16.1 within the workbench that involves Fluent (CFD).
The model that I'm trying to simulate is the heat transfer in a mini-channel, in order to gain a set of Nusselt number results for the following different prandtl numbers of 5.4 and 2.2 with a Reynold's number of 4000 - 10,000 based on laminar flow. I found an example that was similar to my problem, shown in the link provided below. However the difference is that I am using liquid water (instead of air as shown in the link) and the channel is only heated from one side. https://confluence.cornell.edu/displ...ady+Convection I have based my simulation on the example shown in the link and I've changed the fluid state from air to liquid water and the program isn't allowing to get a set of results. It doesn't seem to carry the calculations out and collect results from the model. I would appreciate it greatly for anyone who is able to give me a step in the right direction or recommend any book or a document that will be of great help. Thank you very much. |
