Hi,

is it possible to write out the residuals from a converged solutions??
Whenever I read my Case & Data files in FLUENT, I am able to plot the residuals! So, the data of the residuals should be somewhere in the .dat-file...

But how can I export the data of the residuals in a textfile???

Can somebody help me???

thanks,

Michael

Okay, I found a way for myself...

For those who have the same question:
In Tecplot there's an option to read only the residuals from a .dat-file!
Afterwards you can export them to a ASCII file!!

Unfortunately, I don't found a way to do it without another commercial program...

Cheers,

Michael

When you go to File Load Data Files, the default file type is the Tecplot Data Loader. Instead choose the Fluent Data Loader but click the check box for Advanced Options. Then when you click OPEN there are several options:
Code:
Load Case and Data Files
Load Case File Only
Load Residuals Only
Load Multiple Case and Data Files
tariq likes this.
