I´m trying to predict the heat transfer between a hot air channel and a solid ball inside it. But I can´t, because the equations coupling only works in the solid-fluid way.
The heat transfer and fluid mechanics equations are only solved in the fluid region, and the temperature inside the ball remains constant, with no heat transfer to the sorrounding air (using coupled boundary conditions). I tried to solve the problem in diferent way and it works. The ball was fluid and the channel was solid, with temeperature boundary conditions. Can I do fluid-solid heat transfer in FLUENT?? (not using convective boundary conditions) Regards |
