Dear

I have inside my computational domain water-vapor flows over a cold-plate and I'd like to simulate the accumulation of the frost on the surface of the cold-plate with time, but I don't know from where to start in FLUENT, does it consider steady or unsteady state, do I have to choose pressure solver or density solver and so on? please if anyone know I'm looking forward for a reply.

Thanks a lot

Hello amar,

Fluent has solidification and Melting model. you can refer a tutorial on this in the basic tutorial list.however i feel your expectations are little on the higher side.
i know that deicing can be done, i.e. melting on ice.
you can cross check with fluent support. if you are from india you can contact india support.

I have not go through this type of simulations yet, and of course when I will start I'd like to share my experience with.
