Hello, hopefully just a quick, simple question.

What exactly is the user defined opperating pressure used for? Does it only get used for absolute values of pressures in the results relative to the opperating pressure? Or does it actually affect the results of a solution?

I hope you understand what I mean.

Regards

is it possible to affect the properties of the fluid such as ideal gas? I am not sure.

Operating pressure + Gauge pressure = Absolute pressure
u will have parameter on boundary condition which only let u input gauge pressure.
Operating pressure was default as atmosphere pressure.

Thanks, that's what I was predicting.

But does it get used in any of the solution calculations directly, or just addedd on to the gauge pressure at the end to make the pressures in the results relative to your opperating pressure, rather than just being a local solution pressure

Yes. Operating pressure does matter in the calculation. They will use it in every single calculation require pressure.
anyhow, just make sure ur parameter input to the simulation is correct.
Double check if the pressure u got is gauge pressure or absolute pressure.
