how to provide accurate inlet boundary condition from experimental data?

Hello everyone,

I am stock on how to provide accurate inlet bounday conditon from my experimental data?

I am doing a simulation for a impinging jet discharged from a semi-elliptical pipe.In order to measure the outlet velocity profile carefully, the measuring plane which covers the whole jet exit and was put 5mm under the pipe exit. But the recorded data also includes the extra data of the transverse velocity which is inside the free shear layer.I don't how can i cut the extra data and provide the desired airflow rate(20l/s).

And i also want to know which factors i need to ba careful when providing the inlet bounday condition?

Thanks for any answer!

Best wishes
