Accelerating fluid via source terms

Hello,

I am trying to accelerate the fluid around an object. I have read some people have used a variable farfield velocity and source terms to accelerate the fluid inside the domain. This is using the compressible solver.

I want to do it in the incompressible solver. The first thing I noticed is that the flow adapts instantaneously to the inlet velocity (since the speed of sound is infinite) but also that the source term does not seem to influence the flow. I am not sure if this is because of the instantaneous adaption or because my source term is not big enough.

The results are not correct. Is there any way around this? Is this the same as an accelerating reference frame?

Thank you.
