I have a system, and the system is like this
I have a reservoir which is filled by water with head = 2 or 3 metres, the reservoir is connected to the pipe, and then the pipe is connected to a ventury, and at the end of the pipe, it is directly connected to the atmosphere, in the ventury , the pressure in the center of the smallest area of the pipe is lower than pressure of the atmosphere, so if we make a hole/connecting pipe that makes it directly connected to the air, so air is moving in to the ventury. the system can be called a hydro ventury system, the purpose of my project is to make a proper wind turbine in duct that get the power from this hydro ventury system, first, i want to simulate the system, to know how fast that the wind blow through the duct that connected to the ventury, and i don't know how to do it with FLUENT, because my friend told me that it have to use a multiphase model, and i don't understand how to use multiphase. if any of you could help my problem, and told me how to use multiphase and the boundary condition that i must use in the system, it will be a pleasure for me Thank you!! |
