how can I speed up unsteady simulation

Dear all,
My unsteady flow simulation taking around 2 months to converged the solution. How can I reduced CPU time for unsteady problem?:confused:
Thanks.

how big is the grid?

just my two cents, try
* use smaller grid solution to initialize the big grid. (search "interpolation file" in manual)
* use biger time steps to develop the flow for a while, then switch to smaller time step.
* use parallel computation.
* use implicit solver
