Aerolex is on a distinguished road
Does anyone know how to get the data corresponding to the stationary part only from a FLUENT 3D model?

The 3D computation was done with both stationary and rotational parts but only the data of stationary part and it alone are needed. In other words, the rotational part must be removed from the output files without changing anything else.

It has been tried to use the script <grid mo delete-cell-zone> to remove the rotational parts from the autosaved case and data files. However, the interface between the stationary and rotational regions was reset as solid wall with all zero velocity components which are actually and originally not.

So I am wondering if someone has any better idea to extract the data from the stationary part only.

Thanks in advance!

Alex
