FLUENT v12 Parallel Error -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

November 27, 2009, 00:40	FLUENT v12 Parallel Error	#1
cfd23 New Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 6 Rep Power: 16	Hi, Running a simulation of FLUENT v12 with transition modelling. Parallel parititoning by metis works fine with 3 and 6 CPUS, yet fails for 2 and 4. Also a serial simulation on my desktop fails with divergence errors. Any reason why the conflicting status depending on the number of cpus please? Thanks
