Reg:Mesh in Gambit

Hi,

I am trying to import an acis/parasolid/iges file into gambit from solidworks 2009 x64 Edition SP3.0 ( This is the students version) but i get an error.I want to know the best way to import my geometry into Gambit from this.If anyone can help do let me know.

i use to import parasolid and it works very well to import 3D volume.

what error message u get?

maybe ur gambit license didn't have geometry import.

You need extra license for tat.

Hi,

For making the solidworks geometry work which license should i get

Fluent Academic Parasolid Reader (5 tasks)
Fluent Academic Solidworks CAD Connection (5 tasks)

Each of it is costing $250.
