acoustic cavitation modeling
 

Hi,
I want to simulate a sono-reactor.an ultrasonic horn produces acoustic waves.propagation of the waves in the bulk of water generates cavity zones..
is fluent 6.2 is proper for this means?
will be grateful if anyone can indicate me some resources That would be helpful..

my project is some how the same as yours
fluent software cannot produce acoustic waves in a fluid it just can simulate the waves that are produced by high velocity fluid motion.
as i know you should move one boundary to produce acoustic waves.
i did but my results are not very good.
i think you'd better take a look at "FEMLAB" software
if you have this software please inform me.
