discontinous flow
 

how can i define a discontinuous flow rate for velocity inlet. i working on a reactor where inlet flow is continous for 3 sec then stop and after again 3 sec again it is continous flow next 3 sec.

how can i define in a fluent. is there any option other than UDF?
