time step and iterations in steady state problem using transient solver

I am using the transient solver for a steady state problem. Whether the time step and iterations per time step can effect the final results ? I want to know if I can use a large time step and 1 iteration per time step to reach the steady state.

ur question answer can be vary from case to case.
If u understand what u trying to simulation, u should know how long it takes to have everything reach steady.
for example, u got a simulation which happen very fast and ended in 1second, u should try to set ur time step 0.1 sec or less to see what happen in that 1 second. as u can see, its depend on ur simulation.

Reach conversion criteria during iterations.... if the flow pattern does not change.... you can take this as a final solution
