Hei,

I am new to CFD. I am simulating the CO levels in an underground car park. I have obtained convergence for velocity and pressure.

I made a face on the floor of the car park called 'driving lane' to act as the source of CO. I use the driving lane face as a mass flow inlet BC

I am using a k-epsilon realizable model.
In materials panel i am using only 2 species air and CO
However on simulation i am getting very high levels of CO in the car park volume. i tried two conditions for the mass flow inlet
1. mass flow rate of 1.8e-5 kg/sec and mass fraction of CO as 1
2. 2.69kg/sec of air and mass fraction of CO as 1.4e-04
I have the field data for a particular car park.

I am not sure where i am going wrong. I am in urgent help as this work has to be completed by Feb end.

Field values are in the range of 6 to 10 ppm

Simulation values are all in excess of 100000 ppm
