I am simulating a multiphase hydrocyclone flow(VOF simulation). There is a solid rod at the centre, where the air core is generally present. the rod is placed at some distance below the VF. The air core as in the normal cyclone starts from the VF and moves inwards. as it touches the rod the flow diverges. Any special precautions necessary for meshing around the sharp edge of the rod?
