Fluent vs CFD-ACE in modeling of MOCVD?
 

Which one is better? I want to compare their abilities to handel the meshing of complicate system geometry. Also, which one will take shorter time to get a converged result for the same problem with similar number of grids? I know that chemical reaction part of Fluent is from CHEMKIN. How about CFD-ACE? Is it also from CHEMKIN? Any opinion is appreciated.

Hi Jiuan, STR offers specialized software package CVDSim intended for modeling of epitaxy in mass-production and research scale reactors. The tool is available as an add-on to both CFD-ACE and FLUENT, and also as a stand-alone version for commercial MOCVD reactors.
