Hell All,

I really need your help with the porous medium model in Fluent. I was trying to validate the porous medium model by comparing the results of porous medium model to that of detailed modeling (with a very simple example). The pressure drop (with same inlet velocity) or mass flow rate (with same inlet pressure) generated by Porous medium model is much smaller than that of detailed modeling. What is the problem? I have spent days of time on this, but I could not figure it out why. It may be a bug of the Fluent.

Thanks,

Eric
