Solution controls

Hello

I changed the values in the solution initilization panel and the result differed from the previous values on the residual plot. In the previous iterations on the residual graph continuity was at 10^-4 but now it is at 10^-2. Why it is so? The values and everything is same but just changing the initial values at the solution initialization panel changed the result.

Please tell me why it is happening like this? Thank you
Mohsin

giving good initialization field will help convergence.
At the opposite a poor one won't help

Thank you Max

But whatever is the assumed initialization in the end the result would be same. I mean first good assumption takes less time to converge while bad assumption takes more time to converge. but both can converge in the end.

Please clarify
Thanks

From my own experience, I can say that a poor/wrong initialization can gives you a false and converged solution.
Always taking your result with critical eye
