Problem with Interface Boundary Condition

Hi,

I generated a non-conformal mesh of two touching bodies in Ansys Workbench. Now I want to simulate the heat transfer between the two touching bodies. I use the "interface" boundary condition in Fluent and create the "Mesh Interface". The "Mesh Interface" creates 4 new walls (Boundary Zone 1, Boundary Zone 2, Interface Wall Zone 1, Interface Wall Zone 2). What is the purpose of those new walls and how do I handle them?

Thank you for your help!
