Hey guys,

I'm guessing that I'm not the only user who's seen this error message before. I'm running a two-way FSI and have set up restart points for when the simulation fails. Recently, however, I get this error message when I try to restart:

(DP 0) System coupling run completed with errors. Transient Structural (Solution 1) reported: During the multiframe restart process, the .RDB file was found but the .Rnnn file was not found. Both files are required to perform the multiframe restart. Please do not save the project if you would like to recover to the last saved state.

I didn't do anything different from what I usually do, and I'm not sure why this happened or what's even happening. As far as I can tell, nothing within the solution files have changed: the restart points still exist.

Any and all info would be helpful on this. Thanks.

Hi

Did you obtain the solution to this problem? I am facing the exact same problem.

Yeah, kind of. Forgive me, it was a few good years ago, but I basically had to restart the simulation and rerun. I was using ANSYS 18.1 (I think) at the time, and I haven't had any trouble since I upgraded to the newer version. I know this isn't the solution you were looking for, but sometimes ANSYS just has these little quirks.
