reversed flow in unsteady simulation with dynamic mesh (fluent 12.1)
I am performing the unsteady simulations of flow fields around a 3D wing, and the dynamic mesh is also involved. Previous, I did this by fluent 6.3 on a 32bit PC with windows xp OS. It did work well. Several weeks ago, I transformed my simulations to a fluent 12.1 on a 64bit cluster with HPC windows 2008 server OS. Then, I met one of my biggest nightmares. The reversed flow always occures on the pressure-oulet surface after about 100 time steps. I tyied to decrease the time step size, and increase the flow fields size. Unfortunately, all of them failed to fix this problem. Is there someone who would like to share experiences on this problme? Any suggestions and comments are very appreciated.
