As I'm sure you're all aware, Ansys now owns Fluent. However, it seems like Ansys now want everyone to use Workbench products only. As a result, the academic licence that my university has no longer includes a licence for Gambit in an effort to get people to use ICEM instead.

So I was wondering if anyone knows how to purchase the Gambit software (legally) so I can get it installed on my own persnal machine to continue my work.

Apart from the annoyance of having to learn how to use a new program (ICEM), what I have seen so far suggests it is just not as well suited to the work I am doing. And I also have a few detailed journal files to run in Gambit for parameteric studies that aren't transferable into ICEM, so that's a month or two of work down the drain if I can't continue with Gambit.

Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

Chris
