Does anybody know how to build C type grid in Gambit?

Hi all

Does anybody know how to build a C type grid in Gambit? Now I am doing a 2D airfoil simulation, I know it is easy to build by using ICEM, but unfortunately, I haven't learned that yet. if it is possible, can somebody attach a tutorial for me or give me a related link.

Thank you
Han

A good tutorial which I have just been going through is :

Hi ibzyuk

Hi ibzyuk

Thank you for your reply, but the link you give is not what I need, but I still appreciate that

It is not possible to create a pure C grid in Gambit. However the link posted ibzyuk is the best you can do with Gambit to generate an algebraically structured C grid (Gambit will save the grid as an unstructured mesh) ...

If you want a pure C grid try GridGen (hyperbolic of elliptic solver) or IcemCFD.
