Unsteady flow: NITA or Frozen flux?
I am a new user of Fluent and even newer in transient simulations. I see there are two options to increase the iteration speed:
- non-iterative time advancing
- frozen flux formulation
I find only limited information about these option in the Fluent manual, and would appreciate it if someone can give me some information (or references to) about in which case which option is advisable.
I am modelling mixed convection flow in a room, with the boussinesq approximation.
hello can any one please help how to use non iterative time advancement scheme in fluent . ? i am using a fluent with a cubical geometry intially half filled with water and other half filled with air ( i did the patching ) but not sure how to use NITA scheme ???? please send some suggestions
