Wind turbine blade meshing

can somebody tell me the strategy of meshing the wind turbine blade in Gambit. I don't wanne use Tgrid/Hybird to mesh it automaticly. What I want to do is using Hex element to cooper the volume. But I don't know how to do that. I put my model and other people's models into the attachment to make that straightforward. sorry for my poor English Han |
you have to split your domain into mappable subvolumes. Check your left picture, you can see the volume decomposition.
Gambit's tutorial 7 may be helpful (Modeling Flow in a Tank) |

you need more splits around the blade.
Meshing hexa isn't easy at all, and you can forget meshing your geometry with just few splits. You need to isolate and decompose volumes around your blade you can upload your .dbs file on a share server I will try to do something |

Then you will be able to mesh them with your won hexa paremeters (eg: refinement). |
