Drag coefficient for rectangular

hi
I calculate rectangular drag coefficient in fluent (2D analysis) and the result was 0.69 but in some table it is 2.05 (2D shape) .
in any body here that say me what is the mistake ?

Is that at the same Reynold's number? The cd will depend on Re. What is your Re?

reynolds number

I do not have Reynolds number for handbook, but I have a question:
Is the Reynolds number make high difference like this for drag coefficient ?
do you have another handbook for drag coefficient with Reynolds number ?

I'm afraid it is likely to make a big difference. For example refer to:

http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question...cs/q0231.shtml

The cd of 2.05 should be correct for roughly Re = 1e4 to 1e6.

drag of square

dear jack
after modify the mistake in my modeling, I approach to 2.95
this answer was better than last. I will check the other Reynolds and I can find the reason , I will post that.
thanks.
