How to get velocity vector angle

Hi all,
i have done a cfd simualtion of internal flow with fan modelled usingMRF.
Now i have to get some range of velocity angle of vectors wrt to radius of Mrf(Fan).
i have use this as an input fro fan in other simulation tool.
Thanks in advance
regards
Far

Is it possible to define a Custom Field Function? You might use the x-velocity, y-velocity and z-velocity to calculate (a field) of the desired angle.

Good luck!

choose the MRF zone as reference volume. velocity then can be expressed as axial velocity, tangential velocity and radial velocity. you can define a new user defined function, such as, angle-of-velocity

angle-of-velocity = arctan(radial_v/tangential_v)

This may not be the exact thing you want, just a hint.
