Hello Everyone
I am doing non-boiling two-phase flows in different geometries. Anyway, I decided to calibrate and test the Fluent for some simple problems such as laminar flow inside tubes or between parallel plates. I have tested these two simple problems using different conditions and models (inflow, mass flow inlet, outflow, pressure outlet, Upwind, 2nd order Upwind, hybrid, SIMPLE, SIMPLEC, PISO ...) I mean I have done lots of simulations but ALL OF THEM FAILED to predict the velocity field properly! I was surprised when I have seen this. I have done many complicated simulations and the results were valid compare to the experimental results! Anyone have an idea? Or anyone have the same experience? Sincerely, |
