HI,
Im trying to model a diffuser. I have created the part in NX5 and meshed the part to differnt node sizes i.e. finer mesh at the diffuser, larger mesh underneath the car. I have tryed to join the meshes with interfaces and coupled the different 'bodies' together however when i run the soloution it only solves to the first interface. sometime it comes up with the error message
'Note: zone-surface: cannot create surface from sliding interface zone.
Creating empty surface.'
How can i join the bodies to allow the air to flow through the whole model?
Thanks

Probably you have created a wall at the interface. When you import mesh into fluent, all undefined outer boundaries are labeled as wall. One or more of your interfaces must have become wall. You have to define them as interfaces in pairs. There is a tutorial on non-conformal mesh. I hope that helps you.
