impose oscillating wall velocity
Hi,
I have came across with this paper: http://www.stanford.edu/group/uq/pdfs/conferences/AIAA-2004-2223.pdf and I was wondering if someone could help me out with something much simpler than what there is on that paper. I am trying to simulate on Fluent a channel flow in which one of the lateral walls of the channel has got a portion which oscillates sinusoidally sideways in-plane. Basically I would like to follow the strategy shown on that paper to simulate the flow generated by the synthetic jet out of the cavity, i.e. I would like to impose an oscillating wall velocity rather than simulating the motion of the wall itself. Therefore, the grid would not move but the wall would have imposed a velocity that would affect the fluid above. I obviously would run the simulation in unsteady mode. If anyone could give some help or reference to someone else it would be extremely useful. Thank you very much beforehand. Ivan. |
