omega residual instability

Hi,
I have a huge problem concerning omega residual. When I switch from second order discretization scheme to the third order MUSCL one, after some iterations omega residual suddenly goes mad while the others remain stable. Everything is stable using the first order and the second order. I think I’ve tried to modify everything but I haven’t found a way to fix this problem yet.
I’m using a K-w SST viscous model with a compressible flow at low mach number. The boundary conditions are pressure inlet and pressure outlet.
Is my problem connected to the mesh quality? If yes, how can I find the zone that needs to be refined?
Thank you very much for your help.

Hasn't anyone an answer? a small hint? :( The simulation that is running now has a omega residual which swings around 1.1e+00 and the others that are constantly decreasing and are all above 5e-04 after 600 iterations. Let me ask this question: are the results valid and correct? How does the omega residual affect the final solution? Can I just ignore it?
Again, thank you very much for your time and help.
