Excessively high temperatures
Hi,
I am simulating and open office AC system with Fluent. The office includes a human body and a PC generating each 75W and 35W of heat. I am using the k-Epsilon RNG model for turbulence ( I enabled viscous heating and buoyancy effects) along with the energy equation. I am getting to convergence but I am getting very high surface temperatures for the human and the PC (up to 250 C!!). What I know is that at steady state, the heat flux is equal to the convective heat flux. So such high temperatures may only be true if the convection coefficient is very low (nearly zero). But the AC system is operational and I have imposed a mass flow rate boundary condition. Anyone can help? |
