simulating over expanded flow in nozzle at ambient condition gives reverse flow at exit ,but actually it will happen.
am i correct??? |

It will happen. You will get flow separation at the wall. Your boundary layer gets thicker and the air from the environment enters the domain. But just close to the wall. At the center of your jet there won't be any reverse flow. You will get shock waves which do adapt the pressure.
