Hi,

I´m working in 2D drying problem of a concrete specimen and im using a diffusive transport scalar through a solid domain as moisture.

Im using the diffusion values taken for the literature but im realizing that i obtain extremely large drying times. And im not confidence with the diffusivity for the equation.

I know the diffusive term of the equation that fluent manages is multiplied by the density. And in fluent material definition panel the UDS diffusivity is in kg/m-s units, what is not coherent with the m2/s units.

What i suppose to do to introduce the correct value for the diffusivity. Is density depending? it my 2D problem depends on any reference value?

I will apreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Javier.
