A huge mistake that could ruin my project: wrong turbulence specification
Hello everybody,
I am running out of time as I realized I made a huge mistake.... I am studying a 2D airfoil (chord=2meters) and my boundary is a circle whose radius is 20 times the chord. The flow is 15m/s and I am using a pressure farfield. I am also using the k-epsilon model but I was wrong: in the pressure farfield I chose "intensity and length scale" and I set length scale=2m (chords of the airfoil) which seems to be completely wrong. If it is ok to use "intensity and length scale", what value should I use for length scale? But I don't think it's ok to use it... What should I do? My project due time is really really soon and I realize that today... Thank you for your help! |
Hi,actually giving any value into the length scale does not affect the problem at all,you might give the value "1000" and be sure that it wont matter at all.Good luck!
