Dear all,

I am wondering is it possible to made a 2-D model in Fluent PEMFC-modul?

I didn't have any problems with 3-D model. After i create my geometry in Gambit and meshing and defining boundary conditions i simply load a case in 3D fluent.

I also try with 2-D in x-y plane but after solving in fluent i didn't get solution (i get 0 current density for anode and cathode).

Also i would like to ask, for which exchange current density for anode and cathode you get the most realistic results (polarization curve)?

Thank you for your answers,

Regards, Ivor

hi
i use a sofc model but don't function well because some user memory are 0 all field in 3D simulation. how many strate of cathode and anode you use?
thank you
any suggestions are welcome

I am working on 3-D single straight channel pem electrolyzer model.
Pem electrolyzer model is working, but outputs are incorrect. I am collecting oxygen from anode.

guess what happen History repeat it self.

I have the same problem as you

I am using the Fluent 14 and I want to simulate a PEM fuel cell.
The only tutorial of PEM fuel cell of Fluent is from 6.3 version.
I use it to Fluent 14 and I follow the steps but the results does not the same, also some data and parameters are different.

Anybody know if the tutorial of 6.3 Fluent is working to Fluent 14 too?
I think now you had finish your thesis peacefully.
Can you help me to overcome my problems.
or send me your cas files
Thank you
