hello,
got a question. i let fluent compute my simulation on a cluster and can't see the devolution of the residuals. reading the *.log file, i see a report: temperature limited to 1.000000e+00 in 10 cells and turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.000000e+05 in 536 Cells during the simulation the value of the turb. viscosity dropped down till its disappeared turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.000000e+05 in 283...... the same happens to the temperature temperature limited to 1.000000e+00 in 8 cells.... is my solution ok? should i change something? Big thx. |

It shouldn't be a problem. The message is warning you that an unreasonable value was calculated at some point, so to keep the calculation stable, it threw it out and used the minimum value that you (should have) set in the solution limits menu.
