Hi,
I'm trying to model a case where a blade passes an air inlet and study what is the effect of the passing blade on the airflow. The following picture hopefully clarifies the situation. In Gambit I have made an interface between the inlet tube and the other volume. Also, I have made the tow walls of the lower volume periodic to allow the lower part to "move". So I am intending to use the "sliding mesh" apporoach here. There is also a second airflow trough the lower volume in the -x direction. What I'm wondering is that if this set up is at all suited to model the flow under the inlet tube when the wall (and the whole lower volume) is moving ? Or should I try to use dynamic mesh? Or is there any other easier way to model the effect of a passing blade? I preciate all the answers. |
