Hello,

I'm trying to simulate the filling of resin(viscous fluid such as oil) inside a mold in FLUENT. I have tried using VOF-2 phases, making phase 1-resin, phase 2 air. However, in my case the mold is actually vacuumed meaning no air inside. So, when I used the VOF model I had much slower filling than actual expected times.

Now, I'm trying to use the single phase, viscous/laminar model. It seems to work, however I don't know how I can track or view the filling as there's no variable called 'volume fraction' any more. In the VOF model, I was able read Fluent data on TECPLOT and simply plot resin volume fraction to view the filling of resin. But now I don't know how I can track the flow front or view the filling inside the mold..

Any help is very much appreciated.
Thank you!
