UDF for Evaporation

i need to write a udf for evaporation occurring by means of decreasing pressure which in turn decreases the temperature.

can anyone help me...

thanks

Are you modeling evaporation from discrete particles? Or from a pool of liquid? There are some examples of doing the former in the UDF manual.
What is your time schedule? Based on experience from modeling evaporation from particles, you would want to schedule several weeks for a task such as this. Good luck.

Dear Allan

I have to do it for refrigerant flow in a capillary tube. I planned to spend a week for this.

Any idea or tutorials is available for this type of simulation in fluent?

I would start with the tutorials for two-phase flow which allow for boiling/evaporation. There is at least one for water.
