Chimney

I want to model chimney effect. I used pressure boundary conditions, pressure inlet and outlet is O [Pa], operating pressure 101325 [Pa], density - ideal gas, gravity - 9,81 (axis y) I think the level of pressure in my chimney is wrong, is to small than should be. For example for density in chimney 0,68 the pressure below atmospheric should be near 25 [Pa], i have only 12 [Pa], i used species transport because i want to model how many air will be injected to the chimney but for this case for start i want to know how model simple case when the density is known. Thanks for your answer

Hi, Tomek,
Would you give a description of the computational domain? And I'd like to remind you of the fact that the pressure in FLUENT do not include the hydrostatic head.

Thanks for your answer. Can you give me your email adress. I will send you my computational domain with boundary conditions. My subject it is to show possiblity of FLUENT and one of the subject is chimney and chimney effect

Please refer to the UG and TM before saying this.... if you try solving VOF case you will find that pressure can be taken into account...
