Dear colleagues,

I have made experimental measurements of the natural ventilation rate of a greenhouse with vents open, using the tracer gas technique decay rate method for certain outside wind conditions, and I want to validate the experimental results reproducing the experiment in Fluent 6.1. In the literature, authors propose to obtain a steady state solution of the natural ventilation problem (flow and momentum)until convergence, and then perform a transient simulation activating the multiphase (non reacting) model and adding a new species (N2O), giving a cocentration equal to unit in all the cells insidet the greenhouse and zero in all the cells outside the greenhouse. I tried this but I do not get the expected exponential decay after a number of time steps...Would anybody be so kind to give me a step by step procedure for this problem? Thanks a lot in advance

Hola Esteban,

Estoy intentando hacer algo muy similar a lo que describe usted. ¿Al final lo logró en FLUENT? ¿Cómo lo hizo con N2O?
Espero que tenga un rato para explicarnoslo por favor.
