I'm trying to model methane steam reforming.
I'm using fluent udf to model reaction rate.
I'm using rate equation J. Xu and G. F. Froment, 1989.
The unit of their equation is kmol/(kg_cat.s)

In fluent, the unit of reaction rate is kmol/(m^2.s) in surface reaction.
How can I convert the unit?

There is a surface area(BET, m^2/g) or density (g/cm^2) or catalyst loading (g/cm^2). But I do not know what they are.

The papers tell they use Xu and Froment model, but they do not mention about it.
Help me~~
