actually im stuck at my work. Can i have some advice on my model? actually im modelling an ice melting. Objective is just to find out how long it takes to melt a 0.1x0.05 (2D) rectangular ice model.
My Material Condition is as follows: Using water-liquid (H2O). The solidus temp is 272K The Liquidus temp is 274K Melting Heat is 2263073 j/kg Boundary Condition: Left side of the rectangular set as wall at 270k Top wall 270K bottom wall 270K Right apply heat flux of 1000w/m2 Using unsteady flow, my iteration is 20 times, Question: 1) is there anything wrong with my setup? 2) If im using unsteady state flow, what is my advisable time step size? i will be very gladful if someone can provide me some advice. thanx |
