hi everyone
I am doing a simple modeling with a inlet, a chamber and a outlet for resident time distribution. The fluid is defined as water(or water and O2). I do it by the tutorial but i can not got the result: Procedure: 1.Activate species transport model using the Define:Models:Species:Transport and Reaction panel. Q: When I activate the species transport model, the mixture must be selected, how can i find a mixture of h2o and h2o? 2.In the Define:Materials panel, create a new fluid species “tracer” with the same physical properties as the test fluid. Q: I can not manage to creat the new "tracer" with the physical properties as water. 3.For the mixture material in the Define: Material panel, select following properties. a. Mixture species: tracer and test fluid b. Density: volume-weighted-mixing-law Q for there was no tracer created, or the created tracer did not appear in this panel, so I can not do this step. 4.In the Define: Boundary Condition panel, set the tracer mass fraction at the inlet equal to zero. Q: where is the tracer mass fraction, I can not find it? 5.Disable the tracer species equation in the Solve:Controls:Solution panel. Q: can not find the "tracer species equation" 6.Define a Surface Monitor to monitor the area-weighted-averaged concentration of tracer mass fraction with flow time at the outlet. Activate the Plot and Write options to write the monitor data to a file. Q: can not find the "the area-weighted-averaged concentration of tracer mass fraction" may anyone help? great thanks! |
